I'm a product designer with 4+ years experience at early-stage startups, design studios, and as a full-time freelancer. I leverage my multi-disciplinary background in product, brand and motion design to solve complex business and user problems.
I embrace the spectrum of altitudes of design: from big-picture product strategy to the nuanced intricacies of motion design; from delving deep into user mental models to infusing a brand's essence into the crafting of an icon.
Learning and lifelong discovery is at the core of my ethos. This has led me to traverse brand & motion design, illustration, interface design and currently exploring my entrepreneurial curiosity.
My interest in films and graphic narratives have greatly shaped my approach to design. In my free time, I like to watch films, read science-fiction, go for runs and draw storyboards for a future film.
I started my design journey wanting to make comics. The common denominator of storytelling remains. As an interaction designer, I craft the narrative arc of an experience.
I stole that from my favourite designer, the man, the legend — GMUNK. I like to constantly experiment with tools and technologies. Currently I’m exploring UX patterns for AI, UX frameworks and tinkering around on Webflow.
Over the past few years, I've taken every opportunity to explore the world. I really believe design inspiration comes from cultures, art & design history, and people.
Current interests: Personal Finance, Productivity tools and frameworks, UFC.
A side-project. Born out of a coding project at CMU, I played around with CSS Grid (later moved to Webflow) and made a personal dashboard template to become the starting point of conversation. Here's mine.
I'm leading the design of a Chrome extension that empowers individuals to increase their productivity on the internet through intuitive tab management tools and helps streamline information collection.
At Unacademy, I worked with a lean product team to design Graphy, a platform for creators to establish their knowledge businesses. During my tenure, I designed the product through a merger and a major pivot, revamping the core creator experience and establishing the first design system.
Working across retention and growth, I led the end-to-end design for major new features on the web platform and growth experiments while navigating fast-paced, early-stage product constraints. I also took on the role of mentoring early career designers on the team.
Designed the web presence for The Refashion Hub and Karkhana Chronicles, projects by Purpose Labs to promote sustainability in fashion industry.
Designed website, brand identity, and built website on Webflow for startup studio Meraki Labs.
I designed a series of animated metaphors that indicate performance optimization for Samsung.
Developed a generative visual language for ‘M.A.P./A.M.P’, a project at the intersection of music, activism, and politics for Goethe Institut.
I designed digital solutions for enterprises across industries such as healthcare, financial services & FMCG. Some of the clients I worked with were India's National Stock Exchange, RoyalDSM and Cardinal Health. My work ranged from large-scale digital transformation initiatives to quick prototypes for pitches and design sprints.
I also worked on branding initiatives for Unilever's Pureit and JRG Healthcare. In my 20% time I worked on homegrown studio projects such as the Designit Futures project, an internal playground for initiative, and designed marketing material for the studio, some of which won awards.
Conceptualised, researched and led design on the Panjim Story, a walking tour guide app with multimedia stories. Collaborated with writers, historians and artists to develop content on the app.
